New Delhi: The Ministry of Women and Child Development will observe Veer Bal Diwas 2025 on 26th December as a nationwide celebration honouring the extraordinary courage, resilience and untapped potential of children—the true architects of India’s future.
The occasion will witness a series of engaging activities and commemorative programmes across the country, with States and Districts organizing events in schools, communities and public spaces to inspire young minds and instill values of bravery, determination and service.
The celebrations will culminate in a grand national event at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, to be graced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. The event will be telecast live from 12:00 noon onwards on DD News and AIR News, and streamed through an NIC webcast, enabling citizens from every corner of the country to participate virtually.
To ensure wide outreach and meaningful participation, departments including Women & Child Development, Social Welfare, School Education, Higher Education, Panchayati Raj, Urban Local Bodies, Sports & Youth Affairs and Minority Affairs have been called upon to actively support and implement Veer Bal Diwas activities at State and District levels.
