This directly tests the relationship between magnetic force, radius of motion, charge, and mass.
Another question focuses on an AC circuit, where voltage and current equations are given. Students must calculate the average power dissipated in one cycle, requiring understanding of phase difference and power factor.
Heat and Thermodynamics
A thermodynamics-based question asks for the temperature of a gas, given molecular number density and pressure, using the Boltzmann constant. This checks clarity of kinetic theory of gases and proper substitution in fundamental equations.
Such questions are direct but demand careful handling of powers and units.
