Rajasthan High Court has come out with a massive recruitment drive for Group D posts, offering a total of 5728 vacancies across the state. This is a golden chance for candidates who have passed Class 10 and are looking for stable government jobs. Applications have already started from 31 July 2025 and will be accepted online through the official site hcraj.nic.in.
Vacancies and Post Details
The total number of vacancies is divided between two key categories:
- Peon (चपरासी): 5670 posts
- Driver: 58 posts
- Total: 5728 posts
These posts are being filled under the District Courts and District Legal Services Authorities across Rajasthan.
Who Can Apply?
If you’re 10th pass and meet the age and eligibility criteria, you can apply.
- Education: 10th pass from a recognised board
- Age limit: 18 to 40 years as on 1 January 2025
- Language: Knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script) and Rajasthani culture is required
Age relaxation is available for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, women, and PwD candidates as per state government rules.
Category-wise Reservation
The vacancies include reservation for:
- SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS
- Women candidates (widows and divorcees included)
- Ex-servicemen, PwD, and other special categories
A certain number of posts are reserved in each district according to local population and reservation norms.
Salary and Benefits
The pay scale is in line with the 7th Pay Commission:
- Probation Period Salary: ₹12,400 per month (fixed)
- After Probation: ₹17,700 to ₹56,200 per month (Level-1 pay matrix)
Selected candidates will enjoy regular government benefits like DA, HRA, medical allowance, and pension under Rajasthan service rules.
Selection Process
The recruitment will be done in two stages:
- Written Test – Objective-type paper covering general knowledge, Hindi, and basic mathematics
- Interview – Basic communication and character check for shortlisted candidates
No physical test will be required. Selection will be based purely on merit and reservation guidelines.
