The High Court of Judicature at Bombay invites online applications from eligible and aspiring candidates for the post of Clerk at its Principal Seat in Bombay and Benches at Nagpur and Aurangabad. This recruitment aims to prepare Select and Wait Lists, which shall remain valid for a period of two years. A total of 1,332 vacancies are available across all three establishments, and the position carries Pay Matrix Level S-10 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300) along with admissible allowances. As per Government norms, four percent of the posts are reserved for persons with disabilities, which will be filled upon issuance of appropriate guidelines.
Candidates must be Indian citizens domiciled in the State of Maharashtra, aged between 18 and 38 years for the General category, with relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories and government employees as specified. Applicants must hold a University Degree from a recognized institution, with preference for Law graduates, and should possess English typing skills of 40 words per minute along with required computer proficiency. Knowledge of Marathi language, including reading, writing and speaking, is essential. Eligibility shall be verified through document scrutiny and appointments will be subject to satisfactory medical and character verification.
The selection process comprises three stages: a Screening Test of objective-type questions, an English Typing Test conducted on a computer, and a Viva-voce examination. Candidates must qualify each stage to be considered further in the process. All information regarding examination dates, hall tickets, and results will be made available solely through the official website of the Bombay High Court, and candidates are advised to visit it regularly for timely updates.

Online applications must be submitted through the official website https://bombayhighcourt.nic.in from 15 December 2025 (11:00 a.m.) to 05 January 2026 (5:00 p.m.). A non-refundable examination fee of ₹1000/- must be paid via SBI Collect prior to filling out the application. The High Court reserves the right to modify or cancel any aspect of the recruitment process without prior notice.
