The Border Security Force (BSF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has officially announced the commencement of its recruitment process for the post of Constable (Tradesman) for the year 2025. A total of 3,588 vacancies have been released for male and female candidates across various trades including Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Tailor, Cobbler, Cook, Washerman, and Sweeper, among others. The online application process will begin on 26th July 2025 and will remain open until 24th August 2025 (11:59 PM). Eligible candidates who meet the prescribed educational qualifications, age criteria, and physical standards are encouraged to apply through the official recruitment portal at https://rectt.bsf.gov.in.
The recruitment process will include Physical Standard and Efficiency Tests, Trade Tests, a Written Examination, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination, in accordance with BSF norms.
