Students who missed the initial application deadline for certain Indian Army Internship Programme positions still have an opportunity to apply. While applications for several internship projects closed on 3 August 2026, the AICTE National Internship Portal continues to accept applications for a number of other Indian Army internship roles, with some projects remaining open until 14 August 2026 (and a few even beyond, depending on the project). Applicants are advised to check the individual deadlines for each internship before applying.
The Indian Army Internship Programme offers 75-day internships across emerging technology and strategic domains, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Robotics, Drone Technology, Data Analytics, Defence Electronics, Quantum Computing, Communication Technologies, and more. Selected interns may receive a stipend of up to ₹75,000 per month, subject to the terms and attendance requirements specified for each internship.
Interested students should not assume that all opportunities have closed, as application deadlines vary by internship project. Candidates are encouraged to review the latest list of available internships and submit their applications before the respective closing dates.
