Nagpur : An inspiring interaction was held with the cadets of 2 Maharashtra Battalion Artillery NCC, Nagpur, where Hon. Neelam Gore, Deputy Speaker of the State Legislature, interacted with the cadets and motivated them through her experiences.
During her address, Hon. Gore shared memories from her college days, mentioning that she was actively involved in NSS (National Service Scheme). She spoke about her work in rural areas, where she contributed to women’s welfare, medical check-up camps, and social awareness initiatives. She emphasized that a strong sense of social responsibility and service during youth plays a crucial role in shaping one’s future.

She also recalled several interesting, inspiring, and academically enriching experiences from her student life, connecting warmly with the cadets. Highlighting the importance of learning from failures, maintaining consistency, and moving forward with confidence, she encouraged cadets to uphold the values of discipline, patriotism, leadership, and social service, which are central to the NCC.
The program was graced by the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Amey Kanade (Commanding Officer), Vinod Raut (Bureau Chief, Mumbai Division, Sakal Newspaper), Makarand Patil (Special Executive Officer), along with NCC PI staff.
The interaction proved to be highly motivational and enlightening for the cadets, inspiring them to contribute meaningfully to society and emerge as responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation.
