The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has officially opened applications for its Young Professional (YP) recruitment programme for the 2025–26 cycle, offering a valuable opportunity for young and experienced graduates to work with India’s premier rural development institution.
As per the official notification, NABARD will recruit 44 Young Professionals on a contract basis across 14 specialised disciplines. The programme aims to bring fresh talent into areas related to agriculture, rural finance, economics, technology, and development policy.

Selected candidates will receive an all-inclusive monthly stipend of ₹70,000, making it one of the most competitive contractual opportunities in the public sector. The initial tenure of engagement will be one year, which may be extended based on performance and organisational requirements.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 1 November 2025
(Applicants must be born between 1 November 1995 and 1 November 2004)
• Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Agriculture, Economics, Finance, IT, Management, or allied fields, with minimum marks as prescribed by NABARD.
• Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant work experience as on 1 November 2025 is mandatory.
