On Saturday, the Chunni Lal Parade Ground of the National Cadet Corps Officers Training Academy (NCC OTA) Kamptee, celebrated the Passing Out Parade for newly inducted Cadet Training Officers (CTOs). The training period for this new set of Cadet Training Officers (CTOs) has been successfully completed.
Major General Upkar Chander, Commandant, NCC OTA Kamptee, taking the salute, was impressed during the parade for the remarkable display of discipline, cohesion, military precision, and the drill executed by various units of the NCC.

The contingent included 66 Third Officers, 372 Army Cadet Training Officers, and 52 Naval Cadet Training Officers from 17 NCC Directorates across the country.

They marched in formation under the tunes of the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre Military Band from Belagavi. Academy Under Officer T/O Shaik Riyaz Basha commanded the parade.

The officers were awarded the NCC commission and were inducted as Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) after successfully completing the 60-day training period, which was intensive and focused on drill, physical training, yoga, leadership, community service, disaster management, and interdisciplinary training.

Within the Army Chief Training Officers, CTO Inderjeet Singh was the best among the rest, and was the Gold Medal Winner as well as the the Director General’s Baton Winner. CTO Girish Godhani and CTO Harjap Singh followed as Silver and Bronze Medal Winners.
