The Government of India has appointed Padma Shri Dr. Milind Kamble as the Chairman of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir. The appointment was made on the recommendation of the Hon’ble President of India.

Dr. Kamble is the founder of the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI) and has served as the Chairman of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu, for the past ten years. Under his leadership, the new IIM Jammu campus has seen rapid development.
