The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has announced a recruitment notification for the Project Research Scientist I post under a sponsored research project. The appointment will be purely on a temporary and contractual basis, offering an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to work on advanced health and biomedical research at one of India’s top medical research institutions.
I am sharing this update because such project-based positions at PGIMER are ideal stepping stones for young researchers, medical graduates, and life science professionals looking to gain real-world research exposure. Many candidates miss out on these opportunities because they focus only on long-term government jobs. However, these project roles not only offer hands-on experience in clinical and laboratory research but also open doors to future PhD and fellowship opportunities. Understanding the recruitment process and applying before the deadline can make all the difference for aspirants aiming to build a career in research and public health.
