The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the PET/PST admit card for the UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official portal using their enrollment number, registration number, or date of birth.
According to the details provided, the PET/PST will be held from September 8 to September 16, 2026, and the admit cards have been available since September 1, 2026. This recruitment drive covers a total of 41,424 Home Guard posts.
Online applications for the UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 commenced on November 18, 2025, with the deadline for submission being December 17, 2025. The written examination was held on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026. Subsequently, the preliminary answer key was released on May 7, followed by the final answer key and results on June 28.
The schedule for document verification and PST ran from July 13 to August 7, 2026. The next stage, the PET/ PST, is scheduled to take place from September 8 to September 16, 2026. Admit cards for this phase have been available since September 1, 2026.
Candidates must participate in the prescribed physical standards and running tests during the PET/ PST stage. For male candidates in the UR, OBC, and SC categories, the minimum height requirement is 168 cm, while for ST candidates, it is 160 cm.
For males, the chest measurement is set at 79 to 84 cm for UR, OBC, and SC categories, and 77 to 82 cm for the ST category.
For female candidates, the minimum height is 152 cm for UR, OBC, and SC categories, and 147 cm for the ST category. The minimum weight requirement is 40 kg.
For the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), male candidates must complete a 4.8-kilometre run within 28 minutes, while female candidates must complete a 2.4-kilometre run within 16 minutes.
Before going to the PET/PST centre, one should carefully read all the guidelines mentioned on the admit card. It is essential to carry the necessary original documents and a valid photo ID proof.
It is advisable to check the exam centre's address on the admit card beforehand, especially if the centre is located outside your own district or city. Planning to arrive at the centre well before the reporting time helps avoid last-minute issues.
