A big fight broke out in Uttar Pradesh. A head of a school hit a Basic Ed Officer (BEO) in Sitapur. This was caught on video. It led to talks after Uttar Pradesh’s Tech Ed Head, Ashish Patel, said it was “very sad.” He stood up for the teacher, Brijendra Verma, said he was hardworking & true, & thought he might have been pushed too much due to bad acts. Patel said it’s not fair to judge this on a 20-second video & wants a full look at CCTV to find out the truth.
I talk about this as it brings up how fights between teachers & ed heads are dealt with. It’s key since such fights hurt the name & trust in the ed group. Teachers need to keep rules, & heads must be fair. If one side feels wronged or not heard, it upsets the whole school. By talking about this, we can see why fair checks, clear rules, & help for both teachers & heads are needed.
What Happened in Sitapur?
As said in news, the event went down when BEO Akhilesh Pratap Singh called for head Brijendra Verma of Nadwa School, Sitapur, to his place. The check was due to a claim by an aid teacher who said the head was mean to her. Both were brought in to talk on the spot.
In this talk, things got worse, & Verma is said to have hit the boss. The short clip of the stir got out fast, & led to a lot of bad talk.
Minister’s Response
Ashish Patel, in his post on X, said do not just judge the case on the clip that went big. He said that:
- The whole CCTV clip must be looked at.
- The cause of Verma’s outburst should be checked right.
- Firm steps must be done on who is to blame, be it a teach or an off’cer.
- He said he spoke to Ed Min Sandeep Singh, who said a fair check would be done.
Why the Incident Matters
This case is not about one boss & one cop only. It shows the strain & rub in the school world. Most teachers say they face too much push from the top. At the same time, bosses say they must deal with cries from the team. Without clear & fair ways, these fights grow into bad rows. Such rows hurt cheer & trust from all.
