UPTET 2026 Certificate Out: Direct Download Link

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has finally released the UPTET 2026 certificates. Candidates who qualified in the examination have been able to download their UPTET Eligibility Certificates since September 7, 2026. The 2026 Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test was held on July 2, 3, and 4; following the declaration of results, the certificate issuance process has now commenced. These certificates are crucial for candidates who qualified in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The most important point to note here is that a certificate is not issued to every candidate who simply appeared for the UPTET exam; rather, eligibility certificates have been released only for those who successfully met the prescribed qualifying criteria. Candidates who qualified in either Paper 1 or Paper 2 are eligible to download their certificates.

In other words, if your UPTET 2026 result indicates a qualifying status, you are eligible to download the certificate. Once you receive the certificate, be sure to verify that your name, roll number, paper details, and other personal information are correct.

The results for UPTET 2026 were declared on August 26, 2026; the next release of the certificate is essentially the next step following that result.

This examination determines eligibility for teaching at the Primary and Upper Primary levels. Therefore, although the result and the certificate are distinct, they are directly linked; the release of the eligibility certificate follows the success of qualifying status in the result.

• First, visit the official UPESSC website at https://www.upessc.up.gov.in/
• Locate the link related to the UPTET 2026 Certificate on the homepage.
• Click on the certificate download link.
• Enter the required login details.
• Provide the correct information when asked for your Roll Number and Date of Birth, and enter the security code.
• Now, click on the 'Download Certificate' option.
• Your UPTET Eligibility Certificate will appear on the screen.
• Download the certificate as a PDF.
• Keep at least one printed copy for future reference.

According to the UPTET 2026 information booklet, the eligibility certificate is valid for a lifetime. This means the previous rule, where the certificate's validity expired after a certain number of years, does not apply here.

However, if any future teacher recruitment notification specifies different eligibility conditions or document requirements, one must refer to that specific notification. Only holding a UPTET certificate does not guarantee direct employment; it is primarily a crucial component of eligibility for applying to a teaching position.
