Maharashtra CM Fellowship Program 2026-Overview

Specific eligibility criteria have been established for this fellowship.
To be eligible, candidates must be between 21 and 26 years of age, with a date of birth falling between May 8, 2000, and May 8, 2005. They must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline and have secured a minimum of 60% marks. Additionally, proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the Marathi language is mandatory.

Alongside educational qualifications, certain practical skills are also important. For example, basic computer knowledge, internet usage skills, understanding of the Hindi and English languages, communication ability, and a problem-solving mindset.

Candidates selected for the Fellowship Programme will receive various types of assignments. The core responsibilities include project planning, monitoring of government programmes, providing support for policy implementation, conducting district-level fieldwork, and formulating innovative development proposals. In many instances, Fellows may also be required to work with multiple departments.
