The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has officially started the application process for a massive Group D recruitment drive. A total of 53,749 vacancies have been announced for various departments under the state government. This is a golden opportunity for 10th pass candidates looking for a stable government job.
Recruitment Highlights
The posts are being filled under the Rajasthan Subordinate Services rules. The recruitment is open for both TSP (Tribal Sub Plan) and non-TSP areas. Out of the total vacancies, 52,453 are for non-TSP areas and 1,296 are for TSP areas. These jobs are meant to strengthen support roles in government departments such as clerical help, messengers, cleaners, and other field-level work.
This drive is expected to create direct employment for lakhs of families, especially in rural and underprivileged areas.
Post Details and Department Allocation
The Group D posts are spread across departments like:

- Health
- Rural Development
- Revenue
- PWD
- Police
- Agriculture
- Transport
These are ground-level jobs but come with full government job benefits, regular pay scale, and long-term service security.
Eligibility and Age Criteria
To apply, candidates must have passed at least 10th standard from a recognised board. Basic reading and writing skills in Hindi and knowledge of Rajasthani culture is usually expected.
Age must be between 18 and 40 years as of 1 January 2025. Relaxation is given as per government rules to SC/ST/OBC and female candidates.
Salary Structure
The pay band will be in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission. The entry-level salary starts from ₹18,000 per month with additional perks like medical allowance, dearness allowance and retirement benefits.
During the probation period, a fixed remuneration may be applicable but will be converted to full pay scale after confirmation.
