UPSSSC Recruitment 2026: 412 Vacancies, Eligibility and Last Date

A new government job opportunity has arrived for graduates in Uttar Pradesh, with the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) inviting applications for 412 vacancies in the Youth Welfare Department.

The recruitment covers 368 Regional Youth Welfare and Provincial Development Dal Officer posts and 44 Exercise Trainer posts. The online application process started on 16 October 2026, and eligible candidates can apply until 6 November 2026. Applicants must have a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard to be considered for the main recruitment examination.

What makes this recruitment worth attention is that it offers opportunities in two different professional areas, including youth development and physical training. However, candidates should not overlook the separate educational requirements for these posts.

While a bachelor's degree is required for the officer positions, Exercise Trainer applicants must also possess a relevant physical education qualification. The age limit, application fee and selection procedure are equally important, particularly for candidates preparing for the next stage of the UPSSSC recruitment process.

The vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. 23-Exam/2026. Out of the total 412 posts, 368 are for Regional Youth Welfare and Provincial Development Dal Officers, while the remaining 44 are for Exercise Trainers (Vyayam Prashikshak). The recruitment is being conducted for the Directorate of Youth Welfare and Provincial Guards, Uttar Pradesh.

For the Regional Youth Welfare and Provincial Development Dal Officer posts, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Those applying for Exercise Trainer positions need a bachelor's degree along with a D.P.Ed., B.P.Ed. or an equivalent qualification recognised by the government. A valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard is compulsory for both categories.

The minimum age is 21 years, while the maximum age is 40 years, calculated as of 1 July 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation according to Uttar Pradesh government rules.

The pay scale also differs between the two positions. Regional Youth Welfare and Provincial Development Dal Officers will receive a Level 5 pay scale of ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 per month. Exercise Trainers fall under Level 6, with a pay scale of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

Candidates need to pay an application processing fee of ₹25, irrespective of their category. The payment can be completed online through the available payment options.

The selection process begins with shortlisting based on candidates' normalised scores in UPSSSC PET 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be called for the main written examination. The subsequent stages include physical measurement and physical efficiency tests, followed by document verification and other prescribed formalities. The written examination date has not yet been announced.

The online application process began on 16 October 2026. Interested candidates must visit the UPSSSC website, log in using their PET 2025 registration details, complete the application form and pay the required fee. The last date for submitting the online application is 6 November 2026. Candidates can make corrections to their submitted applications and complete the prescribed fee adjustment process until 13 November 2026.

With 412 vacancies available, this recruitment offers a useful opportunity for eligible graduates. Candidates should check the official notification for post-specific qualifications, physical standards and other conditions before completing their applications.
