The long-awaited results for the Uttarakhand Board examinees have finally been published. The Uttarakhand Board Result 2026 was officially announced on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Board Auditorium in Ramnagar. The results were declared by the Board Chairman and Director of Secondary Education, Mukul Sati. The State Education Minister, Dhan Singh Rawat, was present at the event. Following the announcement of the results, an atmosphere of joy has spread among students and parents across the state.
We are writing about this subject because the Board results mark a pivotal turning point in the lives of students. Future academic activities, college admissions, and career planning all depend upon these results. In my view, just as the success of the toppers serves as an inspiration, the hard work of every single student deserves equal respect.
This year, Akshat Gopal secured the first position in the High School (Class 10) examinations. He is a student of NP Inter College, Ramnagar. By securing a total of 98.2% marks, he emerged as the state topper. In the Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations, two female students—Geetanjali Pant and Sushila Mehdiratta—jointly secured the first position. Both of them obtained 98.0% marks. Geetanjali studies at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Bageshwar, while Sushila studies at Bhangaram Amar Inter College, Bhurapani.
According to Board sources, Aryan from Rishikesh secured the second position, while Banshika from Haridwar secured the third position—a testament to the exceptional success of the state's students. This year, a total of 215,252 students appeared for the Board examinations. Of these, 112,266 students were from Class 10, and 102,986 were from Class 12. The announcement of results was a matter of huge significance for such a large number of examinees.
A total of 1,261 examination centres were established across the state.
Of these, 50 were single centres, and 1,211 were mixed centres. Additionally, 156 centres were designated as sensitive and 6 as highly sensitive. The Uttarakhand Board examinations for 2026 were held from February 21 to March 20, spanning a period of approximately one month.
Students can check their results on the official website as well as by visiting their respective schools. In my opinion, for those experiencing network connectivity issues, visiting their school is the easiest way to view their results. To assist with checking results or addressing issues related to scrutiny and improvement examinations, the Board has provided three helpline numbers: 6396178537, 7055513072, and 7830403040.
