The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has declared the results of the Class 12 supplementary examination held in July 2026. A total of 3,271 candidates appeared for the exam; of these, 1,931 were successful, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 59.07%.
This supplementary examination was conducted primarily for candidates falling under the section improvement of performance, and additional subject categories, as well as for diploma holders. Following the declaration of results, HPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma congratulated the successful candidates and extended his best wishes for their future education and careers.
According to data released by HPBOSE, a total of 3,271 candidates appeared for the July 2026 supplementary examination. Of these, 1,931 candidates were successful, 1,123 were placed in the 'compartment' category, and 2 were unsuccessful; the overall pass percentage was 59.07%.
Candidates belonging to the compartment, improvement of performance, and additional subject categories participated in this examination. Diploma holders were also included in the scope of the exam.
Candidates can view their individual results on the official HPBOSE website. To access the results, they must log in to the result portal using the required details. Candidates should retain a record of their results for future admissions and other academic requirements.

HPBOSE is making arrangements to provide certificates and result-related documents to examinees via DigiLocker. Once the documents are uploaded, students will be able to access them using the digital platform.
It is advisable for examinees to safely preserve their result records alongside the digital documents, as these may be required for future admission or career-related purposes.
HPBOSE has introduced revaluation and rechecking facilities for candidates who are not satisfied with their answer scripts.
Applications for this facility must be submitted online. Applications can be filed through the respective schools using the HPBOSE website's online system. The fee structure is ₹1,000 per subject for revaluation and ₹800 per subject for rechecking. The deadline for applications is September 4, 2026.
Only online applications go with by the prescribed fee will be accepted. HPBOSE has said that applications submitted without the fee will not be considered.
Candidates who have successfully passed the supplementary examination can use their results to proceed with the next steps in their academic or career paths.
Result documents may be required for college admissions, further education, or other necessary purposes; therefore, it is important to keep both digital and physical copies of the results safe.
On the other hand, students in the 'compartment' category are advised not to lose heart but to continue preparing for the next examination opportunity.
