Konkan Railway Recruitment 2026: 66 ALP & Sr ALP Posts

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has issued a vacancy notice to recruit a total of 66 personnel for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Senior Assistant Loco Pilot (Sr. ALP) in 2026. However, this is not a standard direct recruitment; according to the notification, the appointment will be on a deputation basis, with a standard deputation tenure of three years. 

Selected personnel may be required to work at various Crew Lobbies under KRCL located at Ratnagiri, Verna, Madgaon, and Surathkal. For these posts, falling under Level-2 and Level-4 of the Pay Matrix, candidates are required to be currently serving as ALP/ Sr. ALP in the regular cadre of Indian Railways and must meet specific medical fitness standards.

How to Apply for Konkan Railway Recruitment 2026?

• Download and print the prescribed Annexure-A form as per KRCL Vacancy Notice No. DE/ALP/01/2026.
• Do not leave any field in the application form blank.
• Enter your name, gender, service, department, category, and date of birth.
• Specify your age as of 22 September 2026.
• Provide current service details regarding Pay Matrix Level-2/ Level-4.
• Fill in details regarding the present pay band, Grade Pay, and basic pay as of the application date.
• Enter your present designation and the name of the Railway/ PSU.
• Provide your email ID, office telephone number, and mobile number.
• Enter complete details of your educational qualifications.
• Specify details of your experience.
• Provide information regarding any previous deputation or foreign assignment.
• Mention any issues related to debarment from previous deputations or cooling-off periods.
• Affix a recent passport-size photograph and sign across it.
• Sign the declaration stating that the information provided in the application is correct and that you meet the eligibility criteria for the vacancy.
• Have the application forwarded through the proper channel by your Administrative Officer (HQ/ Board, etc.).

Option to Send an Advance Copy

In addition to submitting the application through the proper channel, KRCL has also provided the option to send an advance copy. This means applicants can email an advance copy of the prescribed application along with the necessary enclosures.

This advance copy may be sent until 5:00 PM on 19 October 2026.

However, sending an advance copy is not a substitute for forwarding the original application through the proper channel. The notification separately mentions both the application via the proper channel and the advance copy.
