The recruitment process began with a written examination. According to the official notice from the UPPRPB, the written examination for the Home Guard Enrollment-2025 was held on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026. Subsequently, a notice regarding the final answer key and the list of candidates eligible for DV/ PST (Document Verification/ Physical Standard Test) was published on June 28, 2026.
The recruitment process then moved on to the physical stage. Notices regarding DV/ PST were issued in July and August, followed by updates in early September about the schedule and admit cards for the PET (Physical Efficiency Test). For those selected or scheduled for the PET, the most critical aspects of the recruitment process are the admit card, physical preparation, and the latest official notices.
The recruitment notification specifies the dates for the PET/ PST as September 8 to 16, 2026. However, a new notice was published on the UPPRPB official website on September 3, 2026, announcing a change to the scheduled PET dates due to rain.
Therefore, one should not make travel bookings or plan the journey to the exam centre based on the old dates. Instead, candidates must follow the schedule provided in the latest notice and their admit cards.
