Career Point Edutech Secures ₹1.51 Crore Coaching Contract From the Maharashtra Government

A significant development in the education sector has come out. Career Point Edutech has secured a coaching services contract worth ₹1.51 crore from the Vasantrao Naik Research and Training Institute (VANARTI), which operates under the Maharashtra government.

Under this initiative, online and offline coaching will be provided to 300 students preparing for JEE, NEET, and CET examinations. Students belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and those covered under the Bahujan Welfare Department will specifically benefit from this program.

Career Point Edutech has been entrusted by VANARTI with the responsibility of providing coaching to JEE, NEET, and CET aspirants. The total value of this contract is approximately ₹1,50,90,000, and it initially covers 300 students. The primary objective of the agreement is to provide students with quality training and the necessary study materials for competitive exam preparation.

The Vasantrao Naik Research and Training Institute (VANARTI) is a key organisation of the Government of Maharashtra. The institute primarily conducts various training and welfare programs aimed at the development of socially and educationally disadvantaged communities. The current project is also being implemented as part of that objective.

Students falling under the purview of Maharashtra's Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department will benefit from this scheme. This coaching program is specifically designed for those preparing for the JEE and NEET exams and those wishing to appear for the CET.

Career Point Edutech’s scope will extend beyond conducting classes. Under the project, students will receive live interactive online classes, offline mentoring sessions, digital study materials, online mock tests and practice sessions, performance tracking facilities, and, where necessary, tablets equipped with data connectivity. These facilities will help students prepare more effectively for competitive examinations.

The initial term of the agreement has been set at two years. However, it may be extended by one year at a time with the mutual consent of both parties. So, there is a possibility that the project could continue for up to four years.

In accordance with the agreement, the full payment will not be made in a lump sum. Payments will be made in instalments based on the success of various stages of the course and designated milestones. This ensures the opportunity to regularly value the quality of service and progress.

Career Point Edutech has stated that neither its promoters nor the promoter group have any direct interest in VANARTI. According to the company, this is a standard business agreement and does not constitute a related-party transaction.
