NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Admit Card Download Begins: Hall Ticket Available Without Bank Verification

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Admit Card Download Begins: Hall Ticket Available Without Bank Verification

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important update regarding the downloading of admit cards for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Previously, many students had complained that they were unable to download their admit cards because the bank account verification process had not been completed.

To resolve this issue, the NTA has now enabled a facility allowing candidates to download their hall tickets directly without undergoing bank account verification. This move has brought relief to the examinees.

The NTA has clearly said that the main requirement for bank account verification is no longer required to download the admit card for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam.

Candidates who were previously unable to download their admit cards only due to incomplete bank details can now download their hall tickets directly. The agency further clarified that no one will be poor of the exam fee refund facility even if the bank verification is completed at a later stage.

For the past few days, many candidates have been facing difficulties downloading their admit cards. Key issues included delays in bank account detail verification, login problems on the portal, confusion regarding fee refunds, and block in downloading the admit card. A new decision by the NTA has resolved a significant portion of these issues.

How to Download the NEET UG Re-Exam Admit Card?

  • First, visit the official website of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) conducted by NTA: https://neet.nta.nic.in/
  • Once there, click on the link labelled "Admit Card for NEET (UG) – 2026 Re-Examination" found under the "Candidate Activity" section.
  • On the next page, enter your application number, password, and security pin, then click the login button.
  • You will then see the admit card on your screen; download and print it out for your records.

Many candidates might wonder if bank verification is still mandatory. Yes, bank verification remains necessary. However, it can be completed after downloading the admit card, rather than before. According to the NTA, candidates should download the admit card first and verify their bank account later; eligibility for the fee refund will remain complete. So, there will be no further blocks for students in obtaining their admit cards.

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled for June 21, 2026. The exam will be conducted in offline mode, with a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes; it will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 5:15 PM.

I am writing about this because NEET UG is one of India's most important medical entrance examinations. Any confusion or technical issues regarding admit cards before the re-examination could increase stress for the candidates.

This new decision by the NTA will help students quickly obtain their hall tickets while also allowing the bank verification process for fee refunds to be completed at a later stage. Therefore, it is essential for every candidate to be aware of this update.
