NEET SS 2026 Registration Begins: Apply by November 18, Exam Dates

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has started the online registration process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET SS) 2026. The examination is an important admission gateway for postgraduate medical professionals seeking super-speciality courses such as DM, MCh and DrNB. Eligible doctors can now submit their applications through the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in. According to the announced schedule, the registration window will remain open until November 18, 2026, at 11:55 pm.

For medical professionals planning to take the next step in their careers, keeping track of the application and examination schedule is essential. Missing the registration deadline or making mistakes in the application form could affect their chance to appear for the entrance test. NBEMS has also announced separate dates for correcting application details, editing photographs and downloading admit cards. Candidates should therefore complete the registration early and keep the entire examination calendar in mind.

The NEET SS 2026 examination will be conducted in computer-based mode on December 11 and 12, 2026, at examination centres across the country. The test will take place in two shifts on each day. The morning session is scheduled from 9 am to 11:30 am, while the afternoon session will run from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

Candidates will have to attempt 150 questions within 150 minutes. The examination will be conducted through a group-based format, with questions designed according to the relevant super-speciality medical disciplines. The scores will be used for admission to eligible super-speciality courses, including DM, MCh and DrNB programmes.

The registration process officially opened on October 29, 2026, at 3 pm. Candidates can visit the NBEMS website, access the NEET SS 2026 application section, register and fill in their personal, academic and other required details. They must also upload the necessary documents and complete the application process according to the instructions provided in the information bulletin.

Those who need to make corrections to their submitted applications will get an opportunity from November 20 to November 23, 2026. A separate window for correcting photographs and signatures will remain available from November 28 to December 2, 2026. Candidates should use these facilities carefully and ensure that their uploaded images meet the prescribed specifications.

NBEMS has scheduled the admit card release for December 7, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets online using their login credentials. The examination result is expected to be declared by January 12, 2027, while the cut-off date for qualifying eligibility will be January 31, 2027.

With the examination dates approaching, eligible medical professionals should avoid waiting until the final hours to complete their applications. Checking the official information bulletin, entering accurate details and downloading the admit card on time will help candidates prepare for the NEET SS 2026 examination without unnecessary last-minute difficulties.
