Swarakriti International Dream School and Shiran Centre for Research and Awareness Celebrate 80th Independence Day with the Theme “Youth Empowerment – Viksit Bharat”

Nagpur, 15 August 2026: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, patriotism and social awareness at Swarakriti International Dream School in association with Shiran Centre for Research and Awareness, Nagpur. The celebration was organised around the inspiring theme “Youth Empowerment – Viksit Bharat.” The programme was graced by Ex-Serviceman Mr. Akash Wankhede, who participated in Operation Sindoor, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Ganvir, Mr. Vinod Meshram and Mr. Himanshu Gedam were also present as distinguished guests.

The little children from Nursery, LKG and UKG were the special attraction of the programme. Dressed as brave Indian soldiers, the children presented patriotic slogans, patriotic songs and beautiful dance performances. Their enthusiastic performances filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism and inspired everyone present.

A special Philatelic Exhibition was also organised on the occasion. The exhibition showcased more than 2,000 postal stamps, First Day Covers, postal stamps and philatelic literature. It provided students and visitors with an opportunity to explore India's history, culture and important national events through philately.

Along with the philatelic exhibition, a special “World Peace – No War” Photo Exhibition was organised to spread the message of peace, humanity, harmony and a world free from war. The initiative aimed to create awareness among children about the importance of peace and their responsibility towards building a better future.

As a tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil War, the institution took a pledge to plant 100 trees in their memory. A collective pledge was also taken to contribute towards making India drug-free (Nasha Mukt Bharat) and to promote a healthy, responsible and progressive society.

On the occasion, Dr. Rahul R.N., Head of the Institution, presented the vision, objectives and social initiatives of the organisation. He emphasised that education should not be limited to academics but should also develop patriotism, humanity, environmental responsibility, peace and social values among children.

Principal Mrs. Kirti Bairiya, along with faculty members Mrs. Rashmi G., Mrs. Kiran G. and Mrs. Priyanka, made significant efforts towards the successful organisation of the programme. The institution expressed its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the distinguished guests, parents, teachers and students for their valuable presence, cooperation and support. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment towards Youth Empowerment, Viksit Bharat, Nasha Mukt Bharat, Environmental Protection and World Peace.
