BEL Recruitment 2026: 350 Engineer Posts, Apply for ₹13 Lakh Package

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has invited online applications for 350 Probationary Engineer vacancies in its Electronics and Mechanical disciplines. The recruitment offers an approximate annual Cost to Company (CTC) of ₹13 lakh, making it an attractive opportunity for eligible engineering graduates seeking employment in a public sector company. Applications opened on 28 October 2026 and will remain available until 18 November 2026. Interested candidates can apply through BEL’s official website, bel-india.in, after checking the eligibility conditions.

For engineering graduates planning to enter the public sector, this recruitment deserves attention because it combines a sizeable number of vacancies with a competitive salary package. However, applicants should not focus on the package alone. Their degree specialisation, age and category-related eligibility must match the conditions in the notification. The selection process also includes a computer-based test and an interview, so candidates should understand the stages and prepare accordingly before submitting their applications.

BEL has announced the vacancies under Advertisement No. 17556/HR/All-India/2026. Of the total 350 posts, 200 are for Probationary Engineers in Electronics and 150 are for Mechanical Engineers. These vacancies include backlog positions, and the company may revise the number depending on its requirements.

The recruitment is open to candidates holding a relevant four-year engineering degree. For Electronics posts, eligible specialisations include Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication, Communication and Telecommunication Engineering. Candidates applying for Mechanical posts must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Applicants should carefully match their degree specialisation with the discipline mentioned in the official notification.

The upper age limit for General and EWS candidates is 25 years, calculated as on 1 October 2026. The maximum age limit is 28 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and 30 years for SC/ST candidates. Age relaxation is also available for eligible persons with benchmark disabilities. The notification specifies different limits depending on the candidate’s category.

Selected candidates will be appointed in the E-II grade, with a pay scale of ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000. BEL has indicated an approximate annual CTC of ₹13 lakh. The final benefits and service conditions will be governed by the company's rules.

The application fee for General, EWS and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates is ₹1,180, including GST. SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from paying the fee.

BEL will select candidates through a computer-based test followed by an interview. The computer-based examination is tentatively scheduled for 22 December 2026. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be considered for the interview stage. The examination date may be revised, so applicants should follow official announcements.

The online application process started on 28 October 2026 at 2 PM. Eligible candidates must visit https://bel-india.in/, open the recruitment notification or Careers section and follow the online application link. They should enter their details carefully, upload the required documents and photograph, pay the applicable fee and submit the form before the deadline. The last date is 18 November 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Candidates interested in these 350 engineering vacancies should read the official advertisement thoroughly before applying. Completing the application well before the closing time will help avoid last-minute technical problems.
