Oil India Recruitment 2026: 32 Posts, Salary Up to ₹1.50 Lakh

Oil India Limited has announced a recruitment drive for 32 executive-level positions across Grade A, Grade B and Grade C. The vacancies are open to qualified candidates from engineering, research, finance, Hindi and secretarial backgrounds. The posts include Senior Officer (Mechanical), Senior Officer (Petroleum), Superintending Research Scientist, Senior Accounts Officer, Hindi Officer and Confidential Secretary.

The online application process began on October 15, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their forms until November 14. The highest pay scale offered under this recruitment reaches ₹2.20 lakh.

This recruitment could be particularly attractive to experienced professionals who want to move into a senior role in a major public sector oil company. Unlike entry-level recruitment, most of these positions require specialised educational qualifications and relevant work experience.

Of the 32 vacancies, five are for Superintending Research Scientist, 14 for Senior Officer (Mechanical), four for Senior Officer (Petroleum), six for Senior Accounts Officer/Senior Internal Auditor, two for Hindi Officer and one for Confidential Secretary. The upper age limit depends on the post and category. The notification specifies different limits for different positions, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories. The relevant age, qualification and experience cut-off date is November 14, 2026.

The selection process includes a computer-based test and further assessment through an interview or skill test, depending on the post and grade.
