Samsung Innovation Campus 2026: 20,000 Indian Youths to Receive AI Training

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer limited to the technology sector; its application is rapidly expanding across various fields, moving from healthcare, education, and manufacturing to everyday services. To keep pace with this shift and provide young people with essential technical skills, Samsung India is launching a new phase of the 'Samsung Innovation Campus' for 2026. This plan aims to provide AI training to 20,000 young people aged 18 to 25. The program will be started across 10 states in India.

Plans are in place to train a total of 20,000 youths across 10 Indian states in artificial intelligence through the Samsung Innovation Campus by 2026.

Samsung India will collaborate with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India and the Telecom Sector Skill Council to start this program. The objective is to provide AI education to young people that is directly aligned with industry requirements.

The Samsung Innovation Campus program for 2026 is open to young people aged 18 to 25.

Participants in the training will not only learn the fundamental concepts of AI but will also have the opportunity to apply the technology in real-world scenarios.

Key components of the training include practical AI training, project-based learning, real-world applications, mentorship, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. This enables students to apply what they have learned to actual projects.

JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung South West Asia, has said that AI represents one of the greatest opportunities of the current era. According to him, India's young talent can play a vital role in this transformation.

He further highlighted the need for sustained investment in skill development to apply the potential of AI. At the same time, he highlighted the importance of making AI education more accessible to young people across various regions.

According to Samsung, the goal of the Innovation Campus is to equip young Indians with the knowledge and practical experience that will prepare them for future careers in the technology sector.

Samsung Innovation Campus launched in India in 2022. To date, over 26,500 young people have received training in growing technologies through this plan.

Women's participation in the 2025 program was also significant, accounting for approximately 48 per cent of the total participants.

The 2026 program places greater focus on AI skills. As the use of AI expands across various industries, the skills required for employment are also growing.

In addition to the Samsung Innovation Campus, the company runs several other programs in India aimed at enhancing the skills and innovative capabilities of the youth. These include 'Solve for Tomorrow,' an initiative that encourages young innovators and entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, the Samsung DOST program focuses on preparing candidates for roles in areas such as sales and technical service. Through these broader initiatives, Samsung focuses on both technical expertise and employment-oriented training.

This edition of the Samsung Innovation Campus is significant for several reasons.

First, the initiative aims to provide AI training to 20,000 young people. Second, the program will be conducted across 10 states. Third, the training plan goes beyond mere technical education, incorporating projects, mentorship, and practical application.
