Maharashtra SSC & HSC Registration 2027 Begins: Check Dates and Guidelines

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the registration schedule for the 2027 SSC and HSC examinations. Regular students in Classes 10 and 12 must complete their applications through their respective schools or junior colleges.

The deadline for applying with the standard fee is from August 14 to October 31, 2026. Applications will still be accepted after this period, but late fees and additional late fees will apply.

This registration process is crucial, as students must complete their applications within the mentioned timeframe to participate in the SSC and HSC examinations. Delays may result in additional fees.

Therefore, to avoid last-minute pressure, it is advisable to stay in regular contact with the school or junior college and verify that details such as one's name, subjects, and other information on the registration form are correct.

The registration period for the Maharashtra Board's 2027 SSC and HSC exams has been divided into three phases: the regular fee period runs from August 14 to October 31, 2026; the late fee period is from November 1 to November 15, 2026; and the additional late fee period is from November 16 to November 30, 2026. Therefore, if possible, the application should be completed within the regular fee period.

Regular students must complete their registration through their respective schools or junior colleges. For the SSC examination, the school will handle the necessary procedures. Applications for HSC examinees are to be submitted online through the respective Higher Secondary Schools or junior colleges.

It has been announced that applications for regular students must be processed via the SARAL system. Colleges are also required to update their profiles and submit the necessary information to the concerned Divisional Board.

After HSC examinees submit their applications, a pre-list will be generated via the respective junior college's login portal. This list will contain the information provided by the students.

It is essential for both the college authorities and the examinees to completely review this pre-list. Any errors regarding names, subjects, or other details should be corrected in a timely.

Data verification is a crucial part of the registration process. Once the pre-list is prepared, the included students will be required to sign it.

Additionally, the Head or Principal of the Higher Secondary School must sign and attach the necessary seal on every page of the pre-list. This verification process ensures that the registration details are recorded accurately.

To avoid any issues regarding registration, candidates should keep a few points in mind:

  • Contact your school or college well before the deadline.
  • Clearly check the information you have entered on the form.
  • Verify your name and other details against the pre-list.
  • Quickly inform the school or college authorities if there are any errors.
  • Try to complete the application process within the regular fee deadline.
  • Confirm with the respective institution whether the registration has been successfully completed.
