The tentative date for the second stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II) of the RRB NTPC UG CEN 07/2025 has been announced. According to information released by the Railway Recruitment Boards, the second stage examination for candidates provisionally shortlisted in CBT-I is scheduled for September 17, 2026.
Candidates need to complete several important early steps before CBT-II. It is particularly crucial to be well-informed about procedures such as Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication, notification of the exam city and date, and the downloading of e-call letters.
This examination should not be taken lightly, as the various selection processes will proceed based on the results of CBT-II. Therefore, it is essential to begin preparations depending on the exam pattern immediately.
Additionally, to avoid last-minute complications regarding Aadhaar authentication on the day of the exam, it is advisable to verify identity details and Aadhaar status beforehand. The RRB has also cautioned candidates to trust only information from official RRB websites.
A tentative schedule has been announced for the CBT-II examination under the CEN 07/2025 NTPC Undergraduate recruitment, set for September 17, 2026.
This date applies to candidates provisionally shortlisted for the second stage of the exam based on the CBT-I results. According to the RRB notification, candidates are shortlisted for CBT-II based on their normalised marks from CBT-I.
A separate intimation link will be provided for candidates to check their exam city and exam date. This link is scheduled to become active 10 days before the date of the examination.
If required, SC/ ST candidates will be able to download a Travel Authority via this same intimation link. Therefore, candidates should regularly check their registered details and the RRB website.
The e-call letter for CBT-II will be available for download four days before the scheduled exam date.
Therefore, it is essential to carefully review the e-call letter to check the exam centre, reporting time, and other instructions. Instead of waiting until the last minute, it is advisable to download the admit card promptly after its release and verify the details.
Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be conducted before CBT-II; therefore, candidates need to ensure their identity verification arrangements are in order beforehand. If necessary, candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or a printout of their e-verified Aadhaar.
Candidates who have not yet completed Aadhaar authentication are advised to log in to the official portal using their RRB application abilities to complete the process.
