Dharmendra Pradhan Reviewed Preparations for the Re-NEET 2026 Exam

Among the anxiety of lakhs of students and parents across the country regarding the NEET re-examination, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the National Testing Agency (NTA) headquarters on Tuesday to review the progress of preparations.

He held detailed discussions with NTA officials regarding the measures taken to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the Re-NEET exam scheduled for June 21. Instructions have been issued to maintain extreme confidentiality at every stage, from the preparation of question papers to their delivery at the examination centres.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the NTA headquarters in Delhi to review preparations for the Re-NEET examination.

During the visit, he discussed key aspects of the exam with officials and ensured that all processes were being completed within the mentioned timeframe. The Minister said that no negligence in the conduct of the examination would be tolerated.

According to official information, the Re-NEET examination will be held on June 21. Question papers are being prepared, security measures have been tightened, coordination with examination centres is underway, and special arrangements have been made for the transportation of question papers. The central and state governments are working together to ensure the smooth conduct of the entire process.

Dharmendra Pradhan has said that complete confidentiality will be maintained from the initial stage of question paper preparation until the conclusion of the examination.

He claimed that the government is ensuring the secure storage of question papers, their timely delivery to exam centres, the prevention of unauthorised access to information, and strict surveillance at every stage of the examination process. These measures are being implemented to ensure the transparency of the examination.

The Education Minister has stated that the central government is maintaining regular contact with various states. The objective of this coordination is to ensure the security of examination centres, avoid administrative lapses, monitor the transportation of question papers, and maintain law and order on the day of the examination. The government aims to ensure that no issues affect the examinees.

In the current landscape, cyber threats pose a significant challenge to exam security. So, the government is enlisting the assistance of various agencies. Dharmendra Pradhan has stated that the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and other cyber-security agencies are involved in ensuring the security of this examination.

Dharmendra Pradhan has said that strict legal action will be taken against the accused if they are found guilty in the investigation. He further added that efforts would be made to resolve the case quickly, the accused would face exemplary punishment, and measures would be implemented to prevent such incidents in the future. This statement is being viewed as an attempt to restore confidence among the examinees.
