The Hindu Group is set to host the Maharashtra Infrastructure Conclave 2026 on May 22 in Mumbai. Currently, Maharashtra is undergoing a period of significant transformation characterised by rapid infrastructure development, redevelopment projects, and regional expansion.

Against this backdrop, the conclave is being organised to bring together policymakers, investors, urban planners, and industry leaders on a single platform to deliberate on the state's future growth strategies. The event will commence at 10:00 AM at the Taj President in Mumbai.

Over the past few years, Maharashtra's urban landscape has evolved rapidly. The expansion of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the emergence of new growth corridors, the growth of the maritime sector, and major redevelopment projects are charting a new course for the state's economy. Organised by The Hindu Group, this conclave serves primarily as a platform for focused discussions on Maharashtra's infrastructure growth and redevelopment vision. The primary objective is to deliberate on Maharashtra's future development model.

Eknath Shinde will deliver a special address at the event. The key themes of his speech will be the 'Mumbai to Surajgaad' vision, infrastructure-led development, and regional growth planning. This session holds particular significance as Maharashtra is currently undertaking multiple mega infrastructure projects.

In addition to Mr Eknath Shinde, several other prominent figures will be present at this event, including Shrikant Shinde, Girish Mahajan, Nitesh Rane, Ashish Shelar, and Ashwini Bhide. Furthermore, senior IAS officers and international representatives will also participate.

This panel discussion will focus on the expanding Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
